One deed a day, from a verified source

One good deed a day.
Nothing counted.

Every morning, one small thing you can actually do — with the Qur’an verse or authentic hadith it comes from. No points, no streaks, no account, no one watching. What you write stays on your phone.

One email, on the day it launches. Nothing else, ever.

Give quietly today

If someone asks you for help today and you can’t give, answer them kindly.

Look at them, smile, and speak gently.

Qur’an

Kind words and forgiveness are better than charity followed by insults.

The distance

You already know. Knowing was never the hard part.

There is more Islamic content within reach than any generation has ever had. And still the day goes by, and the thing you meant to do doesn’t get done — not because you didn’t care, and not because you needed another reminder that you should.

So this app doesn’t hand you more to read. It hands you one thing to do, today, small enough to actually do — and shows you where it comes from.

Three screens, that’s the whole app

Nothing to learn, nothing to keep up with.

For your heart today

“Charity does not diminish wealth, and Allah does not increase a servant, on account of his forgiveness, except in honor.”

Try the engine

Every phone works out the same deed for the same day.

The day’s deed is computed from the date alone. Nothing about earlier days is kept — because a record of the days you kept would also be a record of the days you didn’t. Pick any date and see exactly what the app will show.

Charity

Worked out in your browser by the same function the app runs. No request left this page, and nothing about the dates you tried was recorded.

Where the words come from

No verse or hadith here was typed out by a person or a model.

A deed stores a reference, never text. Everything else happens when the app is built.

The author writes a reference

quran 2:263 or hadeethenc 5512 — an address, not a sentence. There is nowhere in the content files to type scripture even if you wanted to.

The build fetches it from the source

Arabic from the Tanzil Project; English from ClearQuran; hadith from the Encyclopedia of Translated Prophetic Hadiths — Arabic, translation and attribution out of one entry, so the words and the credit under them cannot drift apart.

It is checked against a second copy

Every verse is compared word for word with an independent copy of the same translation. A hadith’s printed number is worked out by finding its wording in a numbered edition — and kept only if the companion matches too, because the same words are narrated by different companions under different numbers.

It ships with its papers, or it does not ship

Reference, translator, grade, narrator and licence travel with the text into the app, and a settings page lists every source it carries.

The release build refuses to compile if
  • ×a deed, a source or a note has not been approved by a reviewer
  • ×any licence in the bundle is still unconfirmed
  • ×a quoted excerpt cannot be found, exactly, in the text it quotes
  • ×a recording no longer matches the words it was made from
  • ×a hadith is graded anything other than ṣaḥīḥ or ḥasan

These are not promises on a marketing page. They are rules in the build, and the build is what makes the app. Only matters Muslims agree on: no rulings, no fatwas, no disputes between schools — and every deed is about your own conduct, never correcting or warning somebody else.

What it will never do

Four promises, made on the first screen.

  • 01This app does not give fatwas.
  • 02No points, streaks, badges or rankings.
  • 03Your deeds and notes are shared with no one.
  • 04Your journal stays on your phone unless you export it.

There is no copy anywhere in the app about how you did yesterday. Miss a day and nothing is recorded, nothing is counted, and tomorrow arrives the same as always.

Guided journeys

Seven days with one thing.

A deed, a source, a short teaching and a question to carry — for a week. The first day of every journey is free to read.

  • Forgiveness
  • Family ties
  • Quiet giving
  • Calm
  • Good neighbour
  • Using less
  • Kind words
  • Good work
  • Barakah
  • Marriage
  • Open doors

Some days a deed is not what’s needed

There is a door out of the app, on the same screen as the deed.

Grief. Feeling overwhelmed. Forgiveness that does not feel safe. Needing to speak to someone. Nothing behind that door asks you to do anything, and one button opens a checked directory of helplines for your country — with what each one costs, when it is open and how private it is.

The app says it in plain words: it cannot sit with you, and a person can.

What it costs

The daily deed will always be free.

Free, always

  • The day’s deed, with its source
  • Your private journal and its calendar
  • Themes, reminders and home-screen widgets
  • The first day of every guided journey
  • When it’s hard, and the helpline directory

Ihsan · optional

  • Every day of every guided journey
  • The day’s deed opened up: its source, what it means, and a question to carry
  • The larger widgets

Prices come from the App Store. And there is a line inside the app that reads: if you can’t pay for this, take it. Someone already did. There is nothing to fill in and nothing to explain.

Questions

Before you ask.

Which madhhab is this?
None. The app only uses matters Muslims agree on, and it does not give rulings. If you have a question about a specific ruling, it will tell you to ask your local scholar — which is the same thing it tells you on the first screen.
Do I need an account?
No. There is no account, no sign-in, no ads and no tracking. Your journal, your notes, your chosen themes and your reminder time all live in a database on your phone, and leave it only if you choose to export them. The one thing that does go out is whether you bought a subscription, which Apple has to know anyway.
What happens if I miss a day?
Nothing at all. Nothing is recorded, nothing is counted, and tomorrow’s deed arrives the same as always — worked out from the date, exactly as the panel above does it.
Who checks the religious content?
Every deed, every source and every note we write is read and approved before it goes into a release — the app cannot be built for release with anything unapproved in it. A page in the settings shows you the state of that review and who did it.
What languages will it be in?
English at launch. Arabic, Turkish, Indonesian and Malay are next — with the Arabic of every verse and hadith already there from the first day.
